Supporting Women with Breast Cancer: Mater Chicks in Pink

On 8th March this year, more than 15,000 people will come together to support women with breast cancer at the RACQ International Women’s Day Fun Run. Facilitated by Mater Chicks in Pink, the goal is to raise more than $750,000 for personalised, practical services, life-saving breast cancer research and to show women with breast cancer that they’re not alone.

At Triumph, we too are passionate about supporting and empowering women, which is why we are proud to be major event sponsors of the RACQ International Women’s Day Fun Run at the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens this year.

Every dollar makes a difference for Mater Chicks in Pink to provide women in need with invaluable services such as counselling, financial support, yoga therapy, mastectomy bras and more. Additionally, Mater Chicks in Pink are dedicated to proving world class breast cancer research, the most important tool we have in the fight against such a major healthcare challenge.

Working with the team from Mater Chicks in Pink, we are excited to report the fun run is reaching new heights this year with the registrations selling out in record time and fundraising exceeding to-date expectations. On event day, Triumph will be activating at the Finishers Village out of our Triaction Pop-Up Shop and collaborating with Mater at Home physiotherapists to bring a free warm down zone. Professionally run stretch sessions which be available to fun run participants in the warm down zone including individual help with stretch techniques.
